ECI Acquires Vision and Atomic

ECI Europe, the UK-based subsidiary of the US trade software house, has announced the acquisition of the Office Products business of Integrity Software Systems Limited.

ECI Europe, the UK-based subsidiary of the US trade software house, has announced the acquisition of the Office Products business of Integrity Software Systems Limited. The deal, which was for an undisclosed sum, transfers the division as a complete undertaking, including rights to the software as well as the sales, support, and development staff who will all be transferred to ECI. The Atomic DMS team will also join ECI.

Tom Kapp, CEO, International ECI said "we have been growing the Group vigorously in North America and more recently in Europe with the acquisition of e-Buzz, this deal continues & consolidates this process as part of our determination the be the market leading software provider on both sides of the Atlantic"

Commenting on the acquisition Jerry Luckett, CEO Integrity Software said "This sale is a positive step for both companies and is aligned to Integrity's business strategy to increase our investment in the development of market leading products that accelerate the strategic development of the Group, rigorously focusing on the areas where we have strong positions in our target markets”.

Ron Wotherspoon, European CEO, ECI said “We are delighted that we have been able to conclude this deal, the Vision user base together with our existing Progress users means we can look forward to serve and empower the growth of more than 400 dealers in the UK and Ireland with our systems - probably more than two thirds of the significant independent dealers in the Trade - further consolidating our position as the Trade’s leading software provider”.

ECI will be offering more details of its future plans at a major conference planned for 21st February, at the Marriott Hotel, Heathrow.
