Launch of RouteTrak Handheld Proof of Delivery System

Several ECi add-on products have proven very successful in the U.S. market. As a result, ECi has launched a campaign to bring these time and money saving solutions to Europe and Australia.

“RouteTrak is used successfully by over 1,000 dealers in the U.S.,” says Books. This proof-of-delivery system is based on a handheld unit that captures signatures and provides electronic delivery confirmation. The handheld unit replaces unwieldy clipboards as all information necessary for each delivery is downloaded to the unit. After deliveries, signatures, unit counts, etc., are uploaded to the server, where they become available to everyone in the organisation who needs access. This in turn eliminates delivery paperwork and the associated costs, driving efficiency and automation into all dealerships.

In addition, RouteTrak can also help optimise routes and driver performance through assigning routes to specific handheld units, automatic download and retrieval of delivery information to/from handheld units, downloading routes to multiple handhelds for load balancing or to cover for out-of-service vehicles, generating reports for management and exporting delivery information to spreadsheets, databases or other applications.
