Support Consultant (Dutch Speaking) – Home Based
Job Description
ECi are winning considerable business for their fully integrated business system software and are looking for an additional Dutch speaking Support Consultant. The ideal candidate will have superb customer service experience, be a successful client relationship builder, an excellent communicator and have strong organisational and IT skills. This is a client-facing role which combines consulting level business analysis skills and customer support. The successful candidate should be prepared to work across Europe as some travel is required.
The role will include but is not limited to:-
· Understand customer requirements
· Install and configure software packages either remotely or onsite
· Tailor the solution to meet the customer requirements
· Resolving incidents assigned to the support desk using a variety of resources (manuals, personal knowledge and training)
· Update customers via phone/email keeping them informed of the incident, status and escalations
· Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
· Take ownership of customer incidents and manage to resolution
· Support customers in the use of the company products by providing necessary training and advice.
· Deliver training
Skills needed:
· Excellent project management skills
· Minimum three years experience working for an organisation delivering software solutions
· The ability to work as a team player as well being able to use their initiative and work alone.
· Problem solving – not only solving problems but also eliminating their root causes and preventing their recurrence,
· Self-motivation and attention to detail.
· Experience of delivering training for software packages
· Knowledge of Accounting and/or financial software systems
· Fluent Dutch speaker (French/Flemish Advantageous)

· An ability to work under pressure

- Assertive when necessary – ability to implement effective assertive techniques to manage your customers
