Hanos
At the end of 2007, Hanos decided to use the EasyOrder technology for their web shop. Not just for entering orders online, but also for processing orders that have been compiled using hand-held scanners. In recent years, Hanos has offered customers facilities for gathering orders with a hand-held scanner, and placing the order using a telephone connection. However, this technology, used by over one thousand customers, is no longer the solution for a growing segment of the Hanos customer base. Customers now prefer to place their orders in the Hanos web shop.
Hanos, international wholesaler for hotels, restaurants and pubs was founded in 1975. It has 13 locations in the Netherlands, including the company headquarters in Apeldoorn, and an office in Antwerp, Belgium. The Hanos assortment includes approximately 85,000 products in food, non-food and fresh produce. Hanos supplies hotels, restaurants, pubs, wholesalers and other businesses.

Hanos introduced Hanosonline to their customers presenting the options offered by the web shop:

- Locating products in the Hanos assortment

- Checking order status
- Changing personal settings
