Customer Training
Systematic training is critical to successful technology implementations. ECi makes training a core element of our system implementation. Internet-based training is available via our interactive, Virtual Classrooms. These are offered as Bite Size training sessions on ‘single topics’. You also have the option to have trainers come on site and provide customised training at your location.Additional training services are also available for both new and existing customers.
Web-based Training
The ECi Academy is a web-based classroom delivering training courses across all aspects of the use of Progress, Vision and related products. Internet-based training provides a cost-effective alternative to on-site or traditional classroom training and our virtual classroom sessions enable you to learn without leaving your desk and make training fit into your busy business life.
Currently our sessions take two different forms:
Self-paced (on-demand)
Accessible 24/7 from any location these sessions can be stopped/paused/resumed at any point if there are time constraints. Self-paced training provides a means of continuous training for staff and new employees. It allows you to learn what you need to learn when you need to learn it! Sessions come in bite-size chunks of 5-10 minutes that can be easily absorbed.
Online Classroom
Interactive and personalised tuition tailored to a customer's requirements. The trainer simulates the real-world situations faced on a daily basis. The focus and content of the session is shaped and driven by the realities of your situation. It also provides a great opportunity to learn from the experience of other classmates. Training is scheduled in two-hour sessions and are run weekly.

On top of our web-based training programmes, in-house training programmes can be provided at your request. Depending on your particular requirements, training sessions can focus either on the general working of our solutions or on a company-specific situation.
